Size Guide
Understanding vintage sizing and how to measure for the perfect fit.
Vintage Sizing Runs Smaller
Vintage sizing typically runs 1-2 sizes smaller than modern clothing. A vintage XL often fits like a modern L or even M. Always check measurements rather than relying on tagged size.
How to Measure
For Best Results:
- • Lay garment flat on a clean surface
- • Smooth out any wrinkles or folds
- • Use a soft measuring tape
- • Double flat measurements for circumference
Chest/Pit-to-Pit
Measure across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam. Double this measurement for full chest circumference.
Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where it meets the collar) straight down to the hem.
Shoulder
Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back of the garment.
Sleeve
Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the sleeve cuff.
